How Wisdom Movement Method was Born

I was very passionate about sports and fitness yet developed chronic

pain during high school and into college.

My dream was to be a professional athlete.

 

After years of trying to find relief from doctors, chiropractors, physical

therapists nothing seemed to give me long-term relief.

 

You could say I went on a Vision Quest to get better and I was committed to find a way, a style of training to get me better. I found a mentor who trained me in postural alignment and body biomechanics.

 

The light bulb went off for me and not only did I find full relief from the chronic pain in my knees which I had for years… I also made a DECISION.

 

My desire to be self-focused on being a professional athlete shifted into a burning desire to help others.

I committed myself to learning everything I could about posture, biomechanics as I got my degree in Kinesiology, NSCA certification, and my Master’s in Education.

 

At 21 years old I started working with the over 50 population of clients with the same types of body pain I had. 

Twenty-five plus years later I am still working with clients just like you.

 

Just as I needed a mentor to guide me through multiple injuries…

 

I became that Guide helping my clients move and feel better.​

​I noticed with my clients that as we get older it becomes more important for specialized and customized programming of workouts to help clients with different aches and pains.  Our bodies tend to tighten and break down in certain compensatory areas.

 

Our compensations get stronger depending on the everyday tasks we do over and over.

Maybe it’s sitting for you, an old injury that doesn’t fully recover, single sided sports like golf, tennis or sore

knees from running and hiking.

 

Maybe you are not able to lose weight, your body fat is rising in areas you don’t like… stomach, arms, back.

 

We have a plan for you… the Wisdom Movement Method Process will analyze your posture, joint range of motion, and then customized a lower impact strength training program.

 

What’s at stake here is a crossroads… you can choose to put the time in to restore proper posture, proper joint range of motion training to transform your life… OR... You can continue on the path you are on.
